U13 boys/girls (11 – 12 years, born 2014 and 2013)*
U15 boys (13 – 14 years, born 2012 and 2011)
U17 male (15 – 16 let, born 20010 and 2009)
U19 male (17 – 18 let, born 2008 and 2007)
Amateur men (19 – 34 let, born 2006-1991)
Master men (35 years and above, born 1990 and older)
Women (13 years and above, born 2012 and older)
Elite men (19 years and above, born 2006 and older)
*U13 boys/girls is an open category, uniting boys and girls with license and daily license. The competition also concludes with a joint ceremony.
Elite men category is only open for riders with a UCI license.
20chocolate Downhill Cup is the Slovenian Downhill Cup series. Points are awarded to riders of any federation or nationality.
There will be separate podium presentations for the Slovenian National Championships.
REGISTRATION
Registration closes on on Monday before the event, 14 July, 2025, at 12:00. Registration is open at Prijavim.se.
Entry fee should be paid at registration, otherwise the registration is not valid. Daily licenses will be available at number pick up in race office.
Late registration possible on site.
ENTRY FEES
Elite men, U19 men, U17 men, U15 men, Women, Master men and Amateur men: 50 EUR at preregistration and 70 EUR at late registration on site.
U13 boys/girls: 35 EUR at preregistration and 55 EUR at late registration.
Non-licensed riders are obliged to apply for Slovenia Cycling daily license. They can enter the following categories: U15, U17, U19, Amateur, Master and Women. Daily licenses will be available at number pick up in race office. The cost is 15 €.
REGISTRATION CANCELLATION
Riders should cancel their registration by latest 12.00 on Friday before the race. Entry fee will be returned only with a medical certificate.

UPLIFT FOR SATURDAY’S FREE PRACTICE
Uplift to start is provided by gondola (U13 category to mid-station, other categories to top).
Price for all-day ticket for Saturday for participants is 20 €, available at Bike Park Pohorje Maribor ticket office.
The gondola will be running from 9 am to 7 pm on Friday and Saturday.
PRIZE MONEY
Men overall: 1st place 300 €, 2nd place 200 €, 3rd place 100 €, 4th place 75 €, 5th place 50 €
Women overall: 1st place 300 €, 2nd place 200 €, 3rd place 100 €, 4th place 75 €, 5th place 50 €
If there are less than 5 riders taking part in the race in a category, only half of the monetary prize will be awarded. In case of a UCI event the monetary awards will be adjusted according to UCI rules.
MANDATORY PROTECTION EQUIPMENT
- Full face helmet with visor,
- Knee pads,
- Elbow pads*
- Back protector and/or neck brace (these two could be excluding each other).
*riders of Masters and Elite men categories can compete without elbow pads.

SIDE EVENTS
On Saturday, there will be a free guided MTB tour as part of the Slovenian Cycling Federation program. Meeting at 12:00 at the lower station of the gondola. Start at the upper station of the gondola, where participants will go on a 6 km panoramic trail to the Areh Bike Zone, where they will ride the America enduro trail and the new Zig Zag trail. Then they head back along the Panorama Trail 6 km to the Mariborsko Pohorje Bike Zone. To finish, they descend 8 km down the Flow track to the gondola base station. The tour takes 4 hours in total, with a stop at Areh near Ruška Koča, the tour is 26 km long.

Track
Length: 2200 m
Elevation drop: 540 m (start at 850 m above sea)
The World Cup track in Bike Park Pohorje Maribor is a legendary downhill track that put Maribor on the world map of mountain biking. It has hosted World Cup races since 1999.
It is characterised by:
- Fast sections.
- Rooty terrain: Natural obstacles such as roots increase the technical difficulty.
- Rocks and Roll: A legendary section, known for its technical difficulty, where riders test their skills on rocky terrain.
- Jumps: Adrenaline-pumping jumps that are tailor-made for spectacular rides but require precision.
- Natural terrain: The course preserves the natural character of Pohorje, adding charm and difficulty.
New this year, a few newly built berms at the bottom and some bigger jumps to spice up the lowers section and make it more attractive for spectators.
