You’ve been waiting – and here it is: the calendar for the third season of the Slovenian Downhill Series under the name 20chocolate Downhill Cup (and the thirty-third season under the roof of the Mountain Bike Commission of the Slovenian Cycling Federation). The Slovenian brand of quality chocolate 20chocolate is still with us as the title sponsor of the series.
There will be six races for series points, two of them outside of Slovenia’s borders, and one of the home races will also be the National Championship race. The races will remain single-day, Sunday races, with the chance of getting to know the track the day before.
Season in Brief
Two venues are brand new, having never hosted a downhill race before. These are the DH Planina in Planina v Podbočju, Krško, which opens the series on 18 May, and then the DH Poseka in the Bike Park Poseka in Ravne na Koroškem on 1 June.
In July, the summer holidays will wait a bit due to one of the highlights of the season, the National Championships on the World Cup track in the Bike Park Pohorje in Maribor on 20 July.
Towards the end of August, out of the country for the first time: from the auner Austrian Gravity Series, this year we add the race on the Weissensee (White Lake) in Carinthia to the Slovenian Cup, which takes place on 23 August.
On 14 September, the classic DH Sor’ca on Soriška planina will be held on a new date, and the final will be held again on Sljeme above Zagreb in Croatia on the first Sunday in October.
“Test Day” 2025: Joining Forces with SloEnduro
Before it all starts, we invite you to take part in the 20chocolate DH Cup Day Kamplc in Ajdovščina on Saturday 22 March, which will take place together with the SloEnduro Day Kamplc. Timing will take place on one of the trails throughout the day, and shuttles will be provided to the start for a limited number of entries. So this year’s “test day” is a little different, but just as ideal for testing your bike and your body. Entries open on Monday!

Plus This: Before the End of the Season …
Unfortunately, we “lost” the venue of last year’s unforgettable National Championship from our home series. But instead we’ll be watching top international riders at the iXS European Downhill Cup finals in Bike Park Kranjska Gora from 26 to 28 September. This race will also bring points in the new UCI Continental Series, which opens the riders the door to the World Cup. The Slovenian Cycling Federation and Kranjska Gora Tourism will once again join forces to organise the event.
