Jure Žabjek (Unior/Devinci Factory Racing) is the winner of opening round of 2019 Unior Downhill Cup on Lošinj island, Croatia. In the final run which was held right after the Saturday’s semi-final run because of a storm is expected for Sunday, the Slovenian was 7.44 of a second faster than second placed German Felix Bauer in second place. French rider Romain Payet (ACPR) was third just one tenth of a second behind Bauer.
Slovenian Naja Stipanič (Blackthorn) was the only woman on start this time.
