After the test race at Golovec, the Slovenian Downhill Cup will feature four domestic races from May to September, plus one in each Austria and Croatia.
The 20chocolate Downhill Cup calendar for 2024 is here! We start again with Golovec Trails Test Day in Ljubljana. The event is just around the corner – on Saturday, 16 March. Registration is open.
Racing for points starts with the world-class classic, the DH Pohorje in Maribor, on Saturday 4 May. The race also opens the auner Austrian Gravity Series.
The host of the second Cup race on the last weekend in June is yet to be announced. In mid-July, another classic will follow, the DH Sor’ca on Soriška planina.
At the end of July, we join forces once again with the auner Austrian Gravity Series (aAGS), the Slovenian Cup will be hosted for the first time in Lienz in East Tyrol. It’s not as far as it sounds, an hour 45 minutes drive from the Karavanke tunnel.
Downhill racers will enjoy their summer holidays in spurts this year, with the return to Kope next on 18 August. There’s no better way to escape the summer heat than racing on a new course in the mountains!
Before the end of September and for the final round, we will visit Croatia again, the Sljeme mountain above Zagreb.
